My Top Tips to Stay Positive!
/Now I know I can’t be alone when I say that fall is kind of a tough season for me… Days get shorter and it gets dark earlier, school starts, it gets colder… I swear the second it hits September my mood goes down the drain. But this year I was DETERMINED not to let the fall blues get the best of me. I came up with a few specific things that I thought would help me live a happier fall, and I have felt better than ever!
I knew that I needed to come up with a specific routine to keep me accountable this fall. I started the month by scheduling out previously made plans in my planner so I could see what I was working with. Seeing exact deadlines, shifts, appointments, etc helps tremendously for relieving my stress. I also started out the month by signing up for a yoga membership. By being active it not only forced me to get out of the house but got my body moving and good endorphins flowing. Being in a workout class took me away from my phone which is my next tip. Staying off my phone and being present with day to day activities helped not only with my mood but also my self esteem. The last thing I really tried to start doing this fall was to use my oil diffuser. Having a specific scent going in my apartment made me feel great. I will link my favorites below!
